Dear Client,

Welcome to INNOVATE!, an administrative resource for small business owners. INNOVATE! is a product of, a professional Virtual Assistant company. In these monthly emails we will be giving you numerous resources and tips you can use in your business, your home, your office and your life!

This month we are featuring some tried and true tools for you to use to keep your business and family safe from any outside sources on your computer. We also include a list of remote access products so you can work the Cybertary way - "virtually" anywhere!

Content Controls for Internet Security
For Your Business and Family
Parental Advisory

In this era of Internet spam, spyware, peer-to-peer messaging sites, potentially harmful plug-ins and the endless streaming of inappropriate and "extreme" content, you might want to consider the ins and out of Content Control Software, or web filtering, that is available. Whether you're protecting your family or your business from such content, there is Content Control Software that can help protect you. In some cases, you can even use this software to block Internet access entirely. While small businesses will most likely have a harder time finding affordable Content Control Software, there are some less expensive options available.

Safe eMail Alternatives for Kids
Let Your Kids Get "Email Happy"

Emailing not only helps kids keep up their reading and writing practice, but it helps them maintain relationships and stay up-to-date in their techy abilities. Of course, with all the unacceptable spam content and more serious dangers facing children on the Internet, I have been tempted to hold my children back from Internet usage in order to ensure their safety. Then I found, and my whole attitude changed.

Easy Remote Access: Work the Cybertary Way

At Cybertary, it's critical that we be able to take our work with us. After all, this is how Cybertaries do business. Sure, we are able to keep flexible hours, but that also means we sometimes conduct our work from client office or a quiet cafe, along the soccer field, or from the road. Remote access tools allow you to work on documents as if you were sitting at your PC in your home office, or even at your client's PC, without actually having to be there. Now these are tools many small businesses can utilize for more flexibility as well!
